2026 Community Member Scholarship Recipients

Three community members will start their educational journeys at different institutions next fall with financial
assistance from Outer Banks Community Foundation funds established by caring donors. These scholarship
will follow these student through their education, as long as they complete the renewability requirements.

The three 2026 scholarship awards for these students total $5,500. Two of the scholarships are renewable, making
a potential additional commitment of $13,500 to these students over the next four years.

The 2026 Community Member Scholarship recipients are:

  • Ivy Daniels received the Linda Porter’s Shear Genius Scholarship
  • Amanda Hedgepeth received the Helping Hand Cookie Jar Scholarship
  • Autumn Price received Mark Ward Memorial Scholarship
