First Flight High School 2025 Scholarship Recipients

Thirteen First Flight High School seniors will start college next fall with financial assistance from Outer Banks Community Foundation funds established by local donors and organizations. Many scholarships will follow these students through all four years of school, as long as they complete the renewability requirements.

Fourteen 2025 scholarship awards for these students total $24,900. Nine of the fourteen scholarships are renewable, making a potential additional commitment of $54,300 to these students over the next four years.

2025 First Flight High School Recipients are:

  • Logan Botson received the Gayle Grinstead Memorial Scholarship and the Dare County Association of Fire Officers Scholarship Fund in Memory of Douglas A. Remaley
  • Bryson Capps received the Rex Sample Fund for Courage and Determination Scholarship
  • Annie Coyle received the Vocational Opportunity Fund for Northeastern North Carolina Scholarship
  • Mason Dobie received the Duck Woods Ladies Golf Founders Scholarship
  • Abby Edwards received the Dare County Association of Fire Officers Scholarship Fund in Memory of Douglas A. Remaley
  • Skye Hall received the Doug and Maureen King Scholarship
  • Dresden Jackson received the Outer Banks Association of Realtors Scholarship
  • Emerson Mann received the Healthcare Professionals Scholarship
  • Josh Mouser received the Robert E. Rollason, Jr. Memorial Scholarship
  • Trace Riden received the Joe Riddick Trade & Technical Scholarship
  • Aaron Stewart received the Frank M. Cahoon Memorial Scholarship
  • Joe Wagner received the Bill Jones Memorial Scholarship
  • Mary Williams received the Glenn & Pat Eure Scholarship for Arts Education
