Children & Youth Partnership for Dare County’s 30th Birthday

Celebrate Children & Youth Partnership for Dare County’s (CYP) 30th birthday this Saturday (September 21) from 3:00pm-5:00pm at Dowdy Park in Nags Head!

Created in 1994 following the second State of the Child Conference in Dare County, CYP is a private, nonprofit organization that connects all children, adolescents, and their families with resources to ensure they have what they need to thrive.

The birthday celebration at Dowdy Park this Saturday is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about CYP and support the important work they are doing in our community. At the event, there will be live music, snowballs from Island Snowball Company, a scavenger hunt, yard games, time for children to play at the park, and a raffle which supports the Children & Youth Endowment Fund managed by the Outer Banks Community Foundation.

With the future in mind, CYP created this endowment fund as a safeguard so that CYP can continue to provide programs and services that meet the evolving needs of children, youth, and families for generations to come.

To support CYP’s future, you can donate to the Children and Youth Partnership Endowment Fund online here or scan the QR code.

We are looking forward to celebrating this local nonprofit’s special milestone. We hope to see you there.
