The 12 Bars of Christmas is back in planning mode for 2025, and all 12 themed pop‑up bars have re‑committed to donating passport proceeds to a local Outer Banks charity. Last year’s event raised and distributed over $35,000 this spring through nonprofit partner Outer Banks Community Foundation.
Participating bars and their beneficiary charities include:
-

-
Jack Frost’s – Children & Youth Partnership for Dare County
-
Christmas Vacation Station – Beach Food Pantry
-
North Pole Yacht Club – Dare County Special Olympics
-
Holly Jolly Christmas – Interfaith Community Outreach
-
Deck the Hulls – NC Coastal Federation
-
McCallister’s Corner – Outer Banks Hotline
-

-
Poor Rudolph’s – Outer Banks Relief Foundation
-
Mama Klaus’s – Surfing for Autism
-

“We’re thrilled to bring everyone together for an event that boosts our off‑season economy and uplifts our hard-working nonprofits,” said Mark Ballog, event organizer and owner of Lucky 12 Tavern.
Stay tuned—2025 promises even more holiday cheer, giving, and community spirit!
