Ocracoke School Scholarship Recipient

One Ocracoke School senior will start college next fall with financial assistance from three Outer Banks Community Foundation funds established by caring local donors. Two of these scholarship will follow this student through all four years of school, as long as she completes the renewability requirements.

This year’s scholarship award totals $8,000, with a potential additional commitment of $19,500.

The 2026 Ocracoke School recipient is Angela Flores, who received the following scholarships:

  • Dr. Frederic B. Jr. and Ernestine H. Westervelt Scholarship
  • Elizabeth and Wayne Evans Scholarship
  • Outer Banks Association of Realtors Scholarship
