Ways To Support Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts in Western North Carolina

Hurricane Helene has caused catastrophic devastation in Western North Carolina, and the communities along with our fellow North Carolinians are in urgent need of relief and recovery support.

In an effort to provide a place where people can go to find reliable information and resources to support the communities in Western North Carolina and contribute to relief efforts, we have compiled a list of links and information below.

If you would like to make a meaningful donation, the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina (CFWNC) has activated their Emergency and Disaster Response Fund to accept and disburse funds supporting recovery from the catastrophic impacts of flooding from Hurricane Helene. They have a proven track record and extensive experience in disaster relief funding. CFWNC is headquartered in Asheville and they can deploy funds quickly.  To make a direct donation to the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina’s Emergency and Disaster Response Fund, click here.

Polk County and Henderson County were two of the hardest hit areas. If you would like to donate directly to relief in these counties, please see the links below.
