The Marine Life Preservation Fund of NC, administered by the Outer Banks Community Foundation, was recently established to provide grants to organizations involved in the preservation of dolphins, whales, and sea turtles, and to students studying marine biology with a focus on any one of these animals.
Thanks to Children’s Cancer Partners of the Carolinas (CCP), the financial strain for children with cancer and their families who live in North Carolina and South Carolina has been dramatically reduced, easing the burden as they navigate their children’s cancer journeys. For children in Dare County, that burden has been lessened even more as a result of a grant the Outer Banks Community Foundation (OBCF) recently awarded to CCP.

Carolina Cross Connection recently received a grant from the Outer Banks Community Foundation (OBCF) for their “Access in Dare” project, which empowers students from across the state to spend a week of their summer vacation serving neighbors in Dare County by building safe-access projects.
